BUDGET NOTICE – BRECKNOCK TOWNSHIP
Notice is hereby given that the 2026 proposed budget for the TOWNSHIP OF BRECKNOCK, BERKS COUNTY, PA has been prepared and is available for inspection at the Township office. The final proposed budget will be adopted at a year-end meeting of the Board of Supervisors date to be announced. The Board of Supervisors will also conduct any other general business that may be presented. The meeting will be held at the Brecknock Township Municipal Building, 889 Alleghenyville Road, Mohnton, PA 19540, and is open to the public.

Tree Trimming
The Public Works Department does occasional tree trimming along Township Road rights-of-way where trees, branches, and large limbs hang over the roadways creating a hazard for motorists and pedestrians.
Routine tree trimming provides a safer environment for all who walk and drive along the roads throughout the community. Large trees, limbs, and other vegetation can cause damage to vehicles, especially larger ones such as school buses, plow trucks and trash trucks.
If you have special trees within the right-of-way that you want to have trimmed by someone other than the Public Works Department, please let us know by emailing fiscal@brecknockberks.com.
